Wooden Things was born out of a love of nature, and a wish to further reconnect with my creative side.

Several years ago, my partner and I bought a house, a very old house. A house full of wooden beams, thick stone walls and a great deal of character. A house that also required a great deal of love.

Restoring the house ignited a love of working with wood which eventually led me to woodturning too. There is something very special about creating something out of a single piece of wood and finding the end form hidden inside.

Using wood sourced in Switzerland, I produce handmade items that are natural, unique, useable, and decorative.

And a joy to use.
